Dr. Petersen qualified from the Durban University of Technology in 2017 with a Master's in Chiropractic. After graduating, she went on to work in several accomplished clinics in Ireland, Germany, and Australia. Her journey has eventually brought her to the shores of Kingscliff, bringing the experience and knowledge she gained abroad to provide world-class care to her patients. She has a special interest in chiropractic for the elderly, and her goal is to help all patients discover the many forms and applications of chiropractic.

In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family outdoors, at the beach, on a hike, or on a long walk. She believes life is for living and that it is important to love what you do, love who you are, and laugh a whole lot!
